Here i am just going to tell you basic things that you will need to know to become a good hacker.
Step 1>      Learn programming (HTML,javascript,php,database,java) atleast some core knowledge
step 2>      Start using linux
step 3>      Learn networking concept
step 4>      find yourself a good mentor to learn hacking (someone who is not a script kiddie).
                  who will help you become a real hacker
step 5>      field of hacking is very vast you need to learn step by step for eg. social                                                  engineering, cryptography,website defacing, and various others
step 6>       read some books from good authors
step 7>       participate in hacking challenges
